Moving to another country is an experience of its own kind. Moving to a country where you don’t know the language may be interesting. Moving east while most of your fellow countrymen would go west is considered unwise and finds little understanding. Most see it as a whim, an adventure or search for wealth.
But sometimes it is as little as it is.
A new experience. Another way to spend your life. A wish to change something in your predictable future.
And so it was for me. And here I am in Istanbul – one of the biggest cities in the world. A place where East meets West, where the old meets the modern. Where you can feel the time passing and where the magic is still alive.
The city is alive.
